WHAT WE COLLECT

We collect no personal information from users of the Nines app.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other identifying information.

LOCAL GAME DATA

The app stores the following data locally on your device only, using your device's standard local storage:

• Your game statistics (games played, wins, losses, draws, move counts)
• A saved in-progress game, so you can resume where you left off

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app.

ONLINE MULTIPLAYER

Nines offers an optional online multiplayer mode. When you use it:

• A temporary, randomly generated four-letter game code is created for your session
• Game moves (board positions, whose turn it is) are transmitted in real time so both players can see the board
• No account, username, or login is required at any point
• Sessions are temporary — no game history is stored on our servers after the session ends

Online gameplay uses Pusher (pusher.com), a third-party real-time messaging service, to relay game events between devices. Pusher receives the game move data described above. You can review Pusher's privacy policy at pusher.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We do not use this service to collect or store personal data.

NO ANALYTICS OR TRACKING

Nines does not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising networks, or behavioural tracking. We do not track how you use the app.

NO ADVERTISING

The app contains no advertisements. We do not share any data with advertising networks or data brokers.

CHILDREN

Nines is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information, the app is safe for children to use. We do not knowingly collect any data from users of any age.

DATA SECURITY

Since we do not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data for us to secure. Game move data sent during online multiplayer sessions is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).

YOUR RIGHTS

As we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on request. If you have any concerns, please contact us at hello@ninesgame.co.uk and we will respond promptly.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it occasionally.
